Margot Robbie Is Now the Face of This Chanel Fragrance

Hayley Kadrou   |   18-07-2019

Australian actress Margot Robbie has been selected by fashion house Chanel to be the new face of its Gabrielle Chanel Essence fragrance.

Watch the likes of Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street and Goodbye Christopher Robin, and it’s plain to see that Margot Robbie is both a talented actress and a beautiful woman.

Which is why it’s no surprise that Chanel, perhaps the most famous fashion house in the world, has selected the 29-year-old to front its latest campaign for its Gabrielle Chanel Essence fragrance.

But the French Maison insists that the selection of the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress wasn’t based on those merits alone, stating it is her “captivating personality” which enabled her to be a candidate for the campaign.

Created by In-House Perfumer Olivier Polge in cooperation with the Chanel Laboratory of
Fragrance Creation and Development, the aroma was created as the olfactory interpretation of the house’s founder Gabrielle Chanel.

It reveals a trail that is more “voluptuous and opulent, solar and enveloping,” and has been composed around four white flowers – jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange blossom and tuberose – each of which is revered by Chanel. The new essence also gives a majestic role to Grasse tuberose.

Robbie first started working with the brand in 2018 under the guide of Karl Lagerfeld.

The scent will be available from September 1st, 2019.
