Backstage Beauty: Get The Look From Givenchy's Autumn/Winter 2019 Show

Mimicking the latest runway beauty looks isn’t as difficult as it might seem, and from the products to use to the techniques to employ, here’s how to ace Givenchy’s AW19 backstage makeup look.

For her Autumn/Winter 2019 Ready-To-Wear clothing collection, Givenchy‘s Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller tapped into trends such as exaggerated shoulders, unconventional animal print, delicate florals and more. The colourful collection was titled Winter of Eden.

Complimenting the collection was the beauty look, which was softer and more subtle, but still had an earthy feel.

Givenchy opted for bare-faced beauty with worked in eye makeup

The complexion was natural and fresh, lips were kept bare while eyes were accentuated with smudged, lived-in liner, leaving a subtly glamorous finish.

SKIN

EYES

Givenchy Prisme Quatuor in No. 9 Delicate

“Blend a light wash of Prisme Quatuor No.9 Delicate through the crease using a fluffy blending brush. Blend it along the lower lash line using a small blending brush. Define the lash line using Magic Khol Eyeliner Pencil No.1 Black. Apply the Magic Khol Eyeliner Pencil No.1 Black along the lower lash line. Use a small detail brush to lightly smudge the pencil along the upper & lower lash line, extending outwards into a cat-eye shape.

“Brighten the eyes using Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil No.2 White through the waterline. Highlight the inner corners using Ombre Couture No.1 Top Coat Blanc Satin. Curl the lashes and finish with Noir Couture Volume Mascara No.1 Black Taffetas to the top and bottom lashes.

BROWS

Groom the brows by brushing in upward and outward strokes, trimming any overgrown hairs. Use the Givenchy Eyebrow Pencil to fill in gaps and sparse areas of the brow in a feathery motion to mimic the look of real hair. LIPS & CHEEKS
