A Delicate and Sexy Fall 2017 Bridal Collection From Monique Lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier showcased her Fall 2017 collection at New York Bridal Week and celebrated her 20th year in the business. To mark this milestone anniversary, Lhuillier drew inspiration from her ’90s designs. She said: “I noticed that the dresses haven’t changed that much [since then]. The only thing that’s really different is the hair and makeup.”

The collection was made up of delicate and youthful pieces featuring deep v necklines, scooped backs, cinched in waists with delicate bow-ties and her signature delicate and embroidered details. There were plenty of voluminous hemlines with exquisite ruffles, floral lace printed organza, feathers and sparkling embellishments.

Lhuillier also introduced a touch of colour to her collection with coffee, rose and golden tones, alongside her signature off white, white and blush palette. The dresses were typically feminine and had a sexy touch with low cut necklines, figure hugging silhouettes and sheer lace bodices and bustiers. “Girls are taking care of themselves now. I wanted everything to feel a little sexier,” she said. It was an exquisite Fall 2017 collection from Monique Lhuillier, who once again shows why she is one of the reigning bridal designers.
