Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli take their audience on a unique journey, a trip around the world which is above all introspective, and identify a timeless modernity by which they draw inspiration. The result is a collection which is a hymn to an open mind and to free spirit. Within this introspective journey they create the Tie & dye collection, imagined for independent individuals that express their own creativity. The Tie & Dye collection keeps in mind the Maison’s savoir faire and the Valentino Atelier as a distinctive sign, and is inspired from the original tie-dye technique which became popular in the ‘60s and ‘70s. The result is an original collection made of contrasting motifs, characterised by blended patterns that represent the key element of this unique wash. The Tie & Dye collection has been developed on leather, canvas and denim, for both men’s and women’s lines and spreads across both accessories and ready-to-wear collections.
