Emerging SS18 Trends From London Fashion Week

With Tommy Hilfiger closing London Fashion Week in an extravagant Rock ‘n’ Roll manner with Gigi and Bella Hadid in hand, we round up the emerging SS18 trends to know.

Shine Bright
Need some inspiration for the party season? Look to Topshop, Temperley, Emporio Armani, Molly Goddard and Christopher Kane for some of the most dazzling pieces spotted on the runway. We were particularly taken with the final segment of Kane’s show featuring evening dresses covered in crystals and cage-like structures.

White Out
Head to toe whiter than white outfits were spotted at Simone Rocha, J.W Anderson, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and Emilia Wickstead. The trick is to play with shapes and textures with Simone Rocha leading the styling game with a balanced mix of tulle, silk, satin and lace.

Check Mate
The classic plaid print is not only big news on the streets but also on the runway at Tommy Hilfiger AW17, Mother of Pearl and Versus Versace. Expect your wardrobe to fill up with loosely fit blazers, tailored sharp trousers and a Burberry cap. Trust Christopher Bailey to revive a classic in a fresh cool way.

Gym Buddy
Athleisure has been given a face lift with lux fabrics and pastel colours making it wearable for day and night. Peter Pilotto showcased satin tracksuits while Emporio Armani went for graphic pullover’s and white sneakers. Anya Hindmarch’s sporty jackets stood out with their oversized and feminine silhouettes.
