Designers departing, new names added to the schedule, must-see pop ups and some serious style – here is what to expect at NYFW AW18.

New York City is already buzzing with fashion week fever with the Men’s shows kicking things off ahead of RTW collections walking down the runways. There will be some names missing from the schedule this season including Marchesa,  Fenty x Puma and Rebecca Minkoff. Delpozo have moved to London, Tome have packed up for Paris and Tommy Hilfiger will be showcasing in Milan. Alexander Wang will present for the last time as well as Victoria Beckham who will be in London from next season.

On a flip side the Big Apple will welcome Bottega Veneta as a one off showcase and Esteban Cortazar joins the seven-day schedule. We also look forward to Calvin Klein and from what we’ve seen at Tom Ford’s men’s show, we can’t wait for his presentation tomorrow.

While in NYC, make sure to check out the latest Gucci Art Wall by Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal who illustrated two women wearing the brands eyewear on Lafayette Street in SoHo. Fans of the ugly sneakers need to head down to the Louis Vuitton pop up dedicated to the Archlight sneakers, which we guarantee will be spotted on a number of street style stars.
