Day Four of NYFW FW18 was full of rich colours, undone elegance and fluid dressing.

Tibi was a balancing act of shapes and colours.  Tangy orange was subdued with warm camel while bold yellow was paired with asphalt grey and neon purple was styled with rich burgundy. Sporty tailoring felt familiar of Tibi but with a sense of newness making it another collection that will be making our wish lists.

Brandon Maxwell chose the grand setting of the Appel room at the Time Warner Centre overlooking Central Park which was enough to take your breath away, but it’s the stellar line up of models that drew the eye back to the runway. Bella and Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Joan Small, Maria Borges and Jourdan Dunn all walked in Maxwells FW18 show that focused on relaxed glamour.

Prabal Gurung celebrated women with one of the standout finale’s of the fashion month so far. Models spilled out onto the silent runway carrying white roses while the collection spoke the loudest with vibrant purples, reds and blues, inspired in part by the women-led Mosuo tribe of China. Texture lovers will appreciate the wide use of feathers and decadent velvet.
