Deeply inspired by culture and history, Aura Headpieces founded by Lebanese designer Carolina Chammas, introduces a world of glam that revolves around the many Middle Eastern princesses and legendary figures (Greek,  Roman, Ottoman and Arabian), and brings them all the way to the West by adding a modern and fine sophisticated touch.

“If you look at important women in history, most of them wore jewelry on their head.”

After pursuing a Masters degree in Fashion Marketing at the Istituto Marangoni, Carolina worked at Elie Saab then got immersed in the business side of things as a Brand Manager for well-established brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli and Marc Jacobs in the region. The boho-chic lover, decided to quit her day job to follow her passion for accessory design; to launch her very own brand AURA Headpieces in 2012,  focusing on handmade head couture and celebrating femininity.

“I have always been inspired by fashion and the varying styles women possess over time and throughout different cultures”- designer says.

The accessories brand also represents a great appreciation to hand-craftsmanship and artisan creation. Today, Carolina’s vision about fashion has become more contemporary, ethnic, adventurous and multicultural.

AURA Headpieces are stocked at numerous retailers worldwide including- Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nicols, Bloomingdales, and Luisa Via Roma, and more.
