The Making Of LOEWE Gate Bag

As practical as it is desirable, Loewe’s new Gate Bag is a classic saddle form featuring a modern design. The showstopping bag caught everyone’s attention on the brand’s runway during their SS’18 show. And today, the new distinctive bag is guaranteed to join the house’s list of icons.

The rounded design featured a unique belted front-flap, where the knotted belt is both a functional and a refined decorative detail, which expresses the brand’s aesthetics of intricate craftsmanship, use of highest quality of leathers, and extreme versatility.

Made in Madrid by the house’s master artisans, LOEWE welcomes the Gate bag as a new member to their growing family of accessories, and expanding with a rich variety while staying true to the signature established by creative director and designer Jonathan Anderson.

Its rich hues and superior refined details give this bag a different level of edge. The Gate bag comes in two sizes and 3 types of calfskin and includes internal partitions, pockets, hand-painted edges and a suede lining. What more can we ask for?
