Milan Fashion Week: Giorgio Armani SS18

There was plenty of modern elegance at Giorgio Armani SS18 show. It is something that the brand is praised for, but this time round there was an added artistic flair.

Freedom of expression presented itself with models sporting pixie hair cuts wearing tailored jackets decorated in colourful graphic lines, soft pastel hues were mixed with bold black accessories and there were vivid splashes of contrasting prints.

You can rely on Giorgio Armani for beautifully cut shapes that move with every step resulting in a fluid and flattering fit. Key pieces to note are dresses with sloping hemlines, weightless dustier, luminous pleated skirts and statement clutch bags.

The collection was grown up but with elements of  youthful innocence, the kind of feeling you get every summer when you travel to a new destination not knowing what’s round the corner. It’s the element of surprise with a hint of something familiar that keeps the clients coming back to Giorgio Armani season after season.
