Wrap up warm, in style, this winter with these gorgeous blanket ponchos.  Layering is key this season and a swishy poncho acts like a blanket and a dreamy outerwear piece. They come in an array of knit styles and colours. The boho-traveller style was seen in the catwalks of Etro Spring/Summer 2017, amongst others. They would fit in nicely with a Wild West setting. Style it with skinny trousers or jeans and block-heeled boots, and voilà the look is complete!

See by Chloé’s bouclé-knit cape is an enveloping style, blended with touches of wool and a vintage-inspired grosgrain tab at the front. It also has lightly frayed trims. We think the camel, burgundy and tonal-blue palette works beautifully with denim.

Joseph’s wrap has an enveloping silhouette that’s perfect for layering over sweaters and jackets for extra warmth. It’s knitted from lightweight cashmere and trimmed with fluttering fringing. Make it your go-to on off-duty days.

Caravana’s ‘Kante’ poncho is handmade by expert artisans using traditional techniques. It’s cut from lightweight basketweave cotton for a loose, enveloping fit. We particularly like the tassel trims and relaxed handkerchief hem.

For Chloé’s Resort ’17 collection, Clare Waight Keller cites the low-key elegance of California and South America. This poncho is knitted from navy and sky-blue cotton and has a handkerchief hem framed by dégradé fringing. Pair it with striped trousers or jeans.

Babjades’ cable-knit poncho is spun from sustainably sourced cashmere and detailed with fringed leather trims. It has a comfortable oversized fit and ribbed cuffs, ideal for transitioning between seasons or wearing on long-haul flights. Wear it with cropped jeans and suede boots.

Babjades’ boho-inspired wrap is a feminine and chic essential layering piece. The oversized style is spun from cosy pale-pink cashmere and edged with long suede fringe. The enveloping cut is the perfect alternative to a light jacket.
