Unveiling an era of bridal evolution, Rami Al Ali presents a dreamy collection, glancing through years of sartorial transformation on the aisle. The designer partnered with Van Cleef & Arpels, MAC cosmetics and Maison Des Fleurs to create an enticing, elegant lookbook for fall 2016. We’ve highlighted some backstage images and campaign shots.

It’s a showcase of the voluminous confections of the past to the understated grandeur of modern day, the collection mirrors the shift in fashion and society over the years. Running the gamut of classical, streamlined silhouettes and ultra-romantic full skirts, the dresses are carefully constructed employing new techniques and redefining traditional aesthetics.

Multi-layers of tulle and organza confer opulence and drama, while intricate beading and embroidery sculpt the female figure, for a modern touch. Masterfully incorporating a blend of rich textiles in unexpected ways offers a majestic touch synonymous to the Al Ali label. While crystals, lace, embroidery, and appliqué florals maintain the feminine code of the house and extend an exquisite display of elegance and finesse.

A colour palette of off-white, beige and champagne, deliver a contemporary message overall, however the juxtaposition of straight and generous silhouettes ensure a piece for everyone. The collection is yet another etching of the designer in the sphere of sophisticated refinement and luxury.
