CASUAL

VELVET BLAZER – Saint Laurent’s plush black velvet jacket has gold buttons which creates a military feel. It’s lined in smooth silk-satin to effortlessly slip over layers.

JEANS – Frame’s ‘High Mix’ jeans come with a patchworked, raw-edged finish. Cut from soft faded denim in a straight-leg silhouette, this pair is super flattering because of the seams that create a slim fit.

TEE – Proenza Schouler’s lace-up stretch-jersey top is defined by black grosgrain ties that lace through the front.

SHIRT – See by Chloé’s shirt debuted in New York at Clare Waight Keller’s Pre-Fall ’16 presentation. Cut in a slim silhouette, it’s crafted from ’70s-style white cotton lace and finished with two pockets.

BOOTS – Alexander Wang’s ‘Cora’ boots have a ’90s feel. They are ankle-rise with a chunky block heel and platform sole.

WEEKEND

VELVET TRACK TROUSERS – Elizabeth and James’ effortlessly cool track trousers are cut from plush velvet. This pair has a relaxed fit and is finished with zipped cuffs and lustrous tuxedo-inspired satin trims.

TURTLENECK –  Calvin Klein Collection’s turtleneck top is made fine stretch-cashmere. The chic knit has an elongated silhouette so it’s perfect for tucking into these velvet trousers.

WOOL SWEATER – Rag & Bone’s ‘Jana’ varsity style sweater has striped ribbed trims. Cut for a relaxed fit, it’s spun from the softest merino wool in a red and cream.

TRAINERS – Nike’s Air Max Thea leather and calf hair trainers are designed with comfort in mind. They are set on a bouncy Phylon midsole fitted with the brand’s iconic Air-Sole unit – originally added in 1987.

DRESSY

VELVET DRESS – Reformation’s wrap dress is made from the softest black velvet. This ankle-skimming dress is cut in a wrap silhouette to flatter your waist and décolletage.

CHOKER – Anissa Kermiche’s beautiful velvet choker is handmade with three graduated freshwater pearls in a 14-karat gold setting, and each is embellished with a tiny grey diamond, and completed with a mother-of-pearl.

MULES – Sanayi313’s ‘Serata’ shoes are inspired by the Ottoman Empire. They are exquisite in velvet and ornamented with fraying golden tassels.

RING – Kenneth Jay Lane’s standout ring is cast from gold-plated metal. It makes a bold statement set with a red crystal and finished with a sprinkling of turquoise cabochons.

CLUTCH – Charlotte Olympia’s ‘Lucky Pandora’ clutch is studded with brass ladybugs and topped with a leather leaf. It’s striking and compact. It also comes with a removable polka-dot pouch.
