To mark this Mother’s Day, we’re taking a look at the style of some of the most famous mothers out there and showing you how you can re-create their looks yourself!
Along with being a famous actress, film-maker and humanitarian, Angelina Jolie is very well-known for being Mother to a large brood of six children; Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
Although many of her roles on-screen have required her styling to be glamorous and sultry, it appears off camera she prefers comfort and ease above all else; which is totally understandable while trying to keep an eye on six children!
Her wardrobe is predominantly black complemented by other neutral colours making everything very mix-and-match; a great way to save time when choosing an outfit in the morning. She prefers a casual look, with lots of jersey pieces, layering and loose flowing styles. Of course, casual can look very chic when the pieces are of great quality and cut, helping them to hold their shape throughout the day and wash well for longevity.
She often goes for flat shoes, helping her stay comfortable when on her feet all day but will also dress outfits up with smart boots on occasion.
As Angelina is often travelling the world with her family, the layering of her wardrobe makes it very versatile to changing climates, and accessorising with stylish scarves and sunglasses makes for an effortlessly cool look.
