THE OSCARS 2017: RED CARPET BEST DRESSED LADIES

The 89th Academy awards took place last night at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and the actresses have made their final run through the gauntlet of photographers on the red carpet in the most anticipated event of the awards season. Before the winners are announced and the teary and thankful speeches get under way there is the all important topic of what everyone is wearing.

The red carpet style was mixed bag this year; some opted for a bit of old school Hollywood glamour, and some a more delicate and girly silhouette. There was fringe, feathers, golden goddesses and red sirens. We’ve picked out some of the best and most eye-catching looks below.
