First Look: Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection With Alicia Vikander

Join Alicia Vikander in Ibiza for the Louis Vuitton’s 2018 Cruise collection campaign.

Clearly there is something magical about the island that has been chosen for the maison’s latest shoot and, on a separate note, as the wedding spot for Vikander and Michael Fassbender.

With a striking blue backdrop, the campaign captures the adventurous travelling spirit of the house – influence which you’ll see more of during the upcoming Time Capsule exhibition later this month in Dubai.

Patrick Demarchelier photographed Vikander in a series of locations showing off the latest pieces including the discreetly elegant Capucines bags, emblem of the house and it’s craftmanship, as well as the Twist bag which is one of the new classics dreamed up by Nicolas Ghesquière.

After a full immersion into an ocean of verdure with the Cruise 2018 show in Kyoto, Japan, it’s only fitting that Ibiza is the next fashion hot spot Louis Vuitton has turned to for inspiration – and we for one can’t wait to book our next trip with a leather waistcoat and printed cap in hand.
