Royalty and Monarchy at DANY ATRACHE haute couture

  |   18-09-2015

Dany Atrache has drawn his inspiration from the Royal Epoque in the image of the Roman monarchy. This period was marked by the reign of many Kings and Queens for luxuriant gaits: wide lace collar and volumetric skirts. The creator interpreted this period through the use of noble materials such as silk crepe, velvet, lace and guipure. There were many floral patterns worked in embroidery and screen printing. A combination of historic and modern prints graced the catwalk.

The first look is a bustier dress with velvet trims and lace. The second was a sleeveless, floor-sweeping black trapeze creation with embroideries. Following this are off-the-shoulder silhouettes and long maxi skirts with beautiful appliqués and sequins.
