Talented Jean-Louis Sabaji is a couture Lebanese fashion designer. His designs are original and detailed. His signature technique uses silicone by placing it with syringes on each garment creating very unique textures. One of his famous styles is a twisted silk organza turned into a new fabric of its own. Another note worthy creation is a piece with stuffed hoops of fabrics that twist around the silhouette in standout, random shapes. The designer clearly likes a challenge and to be creatively stimulated. He has a unique spirit and a modern approach to his pieces.

Jean-Louis was raised in a Fashion House, which was the family business where his love for couture grew. His first collection came out in summer 2012. He has dressed the cast of MTV Lebanon Dancing With The Stars season two and he  participated in Fashion Forward Dubai for three consecutive years.

His latest autumn/winter 2015-6 collection was presented in London during the 10th Anniversary of Lahd Gallery in London. Saudi Arabian Princess and Lahd Gallery Founder, H.H Nauf bendar Al Saud hosted the celebration. Ten years ago, the poignant and powerful space was launched as a platform to showcase female artists from the gulf, quickly establishing itself as an important part of the international contemporary art scene, representing emerging and established artists from the MENASA (Middle East, North Africa and South Asia).

Jean-Louis Sabaji’s AW15 colour palette reflects the opulence of a forest with only two colours appearing throughout the entire collection: white that’s associated with successful beginnings to accentuate the purity of a naked nature and gold symbolising wealth, grandeur, prosperity and glamour which are all major characteristics in couture. The collection highlight exaggerated volumes of limbs that run through twelve statement pieces on fitted silhouettes to enhance a woman’s curves.
