The Egyptian designer Yasmine Yeya has been winning the hearts of Middle Eastern brides for years and is now stepping into the world of couture.

After success at one of the leading fashion designer’s competition sponsored by Elie Saab, Maison Yeya was established as a go-to brand for unique evening gowns full of dramatic shapes and intricate embroidery. Yeya’s unique approach to dressmaking has won her many fans in the region and beyond with her creations appearing on the red carpet at Cannes, Tribeca, Cairo & Dubai film festivals.

Sophisticate and feminine, the gowns have an essence of playfulness with the rich fabrics combining the elegance of Italy and the artistic beauty of India. The positive response lead her to launch the bridal line that resonated with Arab brides who look for uniqueness, beautiful silhouettes, bespoke use of crystals and the highest level of craftsmanship.

It’s no surprise that she is now taking her first step into couture with the SS18 collection that carries a sense of old Hollywood glamour, yet the nostalgia feels fresh and modern.

What’s next for Maison Yeya? The brand is looking to expand their presence in the region with a Dubai store which is bound to have fans of artistic gowns and brides-to-be lining up to find their dream dress.
