Once again, Lebanese designers stole the spotlight at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. Names including Elie Saab, Georges Hobeika, Tony Ward, and Zuhair Murad are making statement on the red carpet dressing a-lists and actresses in one-of-a-kind gleaming designs.

This year is extra special for the Lebanese, where Award-winning filmmaker and actress Nadine Labaki’s latest film ‘Capernaum’ is competing for the Palme d’Or Award known as the highest prize awarded at Cannes Film Festival.

Stars who lit up the festival were Victoria Secret Angel Josephine Skriver and Maria Themla both dressed in Georges Hobeika. As for Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai shined in a gorgeous strapless haute couture gown by Rami Kadi, while Helen Mirren went for royal blue Elie Saab gown.

Feast your eyes over the best Lebanese designs that took over the Cannes red carpet in gallery above.
