Housing the brand’s contemporary and luxury womenswear collections, the space will offer curated selection from the Resort and Spring/Summer 2018 Collections, featuring Madiyah Al Sharqi’s signature pastel-hued separates, dresses, outerwear and gowns. The online site also serves as a platform for limited edition and exclusive pieces with worldwide shipping. Al Sharqi said:
“Creating an e-commerce platform opens up the invaluable opportunity to engage directly with women who buy the collections, hear their feedback, and refine our design process even more, tailoring it to what they are demanding more of. Our hope is that the success of the online store could pave the way for a standalone boutique for the brand, which could really capture the ‘universe’ of the Madiyah Al Sharqi brand in a physical space, as well as a digital one.”
The designer has made a deliberate effort to build an online market in partnership with global luxury e-retailers including Moda Operandi and The Modist. The launch of own e-commerce platform is a step further in embracing the digital world.
