When taking to the runway in Paris earlier this year, Miuccia Prada presented a collection that was both earthy and girly.
Think camo print scarves being draped over dresses, pairings of the earthy-green print with tartan jackets and camel-hued capes and sheer dresses with floral embroidery over black slips and likewise-embroidered knee-high socks.
So with the campaign shots for the ready-to-wear collection, the founder of the fashion house decided to take to the great outdoors.
The images presented a group of woman out to explore – both a journey of distance and self-exploration. Taking to the great outdoors, the campaign shots along with the collection represents a sense of adventure and freedom, of wanderlust and yearning of new experiences and challenges.
The images represent an interconnected group on a journey of discovery – of different places, of different selves.
Photographer Eddie Wrey captured the images in the Paws Up ranch which is deep in the Montana state countryside. Adut Akech, Jean Campbell, Abby Champion, Tang He, Meghan Roche, Aliet Sarah and Hailey Rhode Bieber star in the campaign, and their sisterhood is intertwined by mother nature’s watch in the shots.
