A desert of emeralds and diamonds at Palais de Tokyo

This weekend, Cartier hosted a presentation and dinner party inviting special guests and celebrities to Paris at Palais de Tokyo. They unveiled a striking bold new collection called Cactus de Cartier. The house brought the desert to the city with cactus inspired high jewellery. The underlying theme was nature and flora.

Rings, necklaces and bracelets all resembled cacti grown in the barren desert. Blooming flowers and prickly sharp thorns were present in each beautiful piece evoking a spectacular new collection. Emeralds and diamonds sparkled as if the sun’s light had hit a cactus plant enabling it to glow with all its glory. The collection is available to clients from September 2016.

Guests who attended the night included Italian socialite Bianca Brandolini, Spanish actress Rossy de Palma and DJ Misty Rabbit who spun some party tunes later that night.
