Every year, Chopard unveils its ‘Red Carpet Collection’ at the Cannes Film Festival. This year, for its 20th edition as official partner at Cannes, which opens on Wednesday 17th May, Chopard is set to dazzle with this year’s extra special pieces.

The Red Carpet Collection was introduced in 2007 to mark the 60th anniversary of the festival and was intended to adorn the stars for their red carpet appearances. The pieces are created from the imagination of the Chopard Creative Director and Co-President, Caroline Scheufele, and expertly balance historical skills and modern, innovative techniques.

The collection is annually updated with a new model, so the number of pieces in the collection matches the number of festivals to date. So, for this year’s festival, the 70th anniversary of the event, there will be an astounding 70 creations unveiled.

This year’s collection is full of vivid colours and modern, audacious interpretations of red carpet favourites. Chandelier earrings are matched with broad cuff bracelets made from titanium and decorated with rich brocaded arabesque motifs. Rings are adorned with coloured stones of all cuts and bold necklaces add to the kaleidoscope of colours to provide a stunning celebration of the 20 years shared by Chopard and the Cannes Film Festival.
