It’s been a couple of weeks since the Royal Wedding and Meghan Markle has fully enrolled in her duties as the Duchess Of Sussex, but even royalty need help adjusting to a new city.
It’s been reported that a close friend of Markle’s, and London-based human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney has been lending a hand in helping her settle into the city life. According to a People source:
“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests. Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life. It was a very natural friendship from day one.”
Since the wedding to Prince Harry, the Duchess attended her first Royal engagement which was the 70th Birthday Patronage celebration of Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. The couple currently live in the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace, but they are reportedly upgrading to a 21-bedroom apartment on palace grounds, which is currently under construction. Surely Amal will be on hand for some creative advice given her flawless style choices.
While the works take place, they are leasing a home on the Great Tew Estate in the Cotswolds, according to Us Weekly.
