Clare Waight Keller’s First Bag Collection For Givenchy

Let us introduce you to the first handbag collection by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy.

Artistic director has created a selection of practical and chic bags that carry the initials G V 3 as a tribute to the the house’s historic address on the 3 Avenue George V in Paris. The accessories look polished, yet the design reflects vintage sensibility delivering a timeless look.

In keeping with her vision of the Givenchy spirit, Waight Keller manages to deliver pieces that not only look good, but are also functional. The three-compartment accordion structure of the G V 3 maximize capacity while minimizing volume – ideal for every day.

Smooth, shiny flat-grained leather mixes with the tactile softness of suede, their colours deepened with a hand-dabbed “Tamponato” finish. Sleek kid goat leather and lambskin are heat-treated separately to display their unique grains while exotic leathers, such as cat snake or black and white modern pythons, are individually dyed and hand-painted to bring out each bag’s individual attitude.
