‘Colour is an Art’ exhibition features reinterpreted images from great artists for Chanel

“Colour is an Art,” a Chanel exhibition at Harvey Nichols Dubai pays homage to nine contemporary artists using the latest nail varnish collection, Le Duo Vernis Longue Tenue.

It is an inspirational series or art that uses the colours of Chanel varnishes to reinterpret and express the works of Alexander Calder, Vassily Kandinsky, Sol Lewitt, René Magritte, Kasimir Malevich, Piet Mondrian, Jackson Pollock, Victor Vasarely and Claude Viallat. The beautiful exhibition showcases pieces of art combining the new collection with thought-provoking quotes.

Vassily Kandinsky said: “Colour is the keyboard. The eye is the hammer. The soul is the piano, with its many chords. The artist is the hand that, by touching this or that key, causes the soul to vibrate.”
