If you want to feel the old heritage of Dubai, then you have to explore Dubai Creek, especially as it has been shortlisted for UNESCO World Heritage List.

According to the Dubai Media Office, it is one of the 30 locations that is being considered by this year’s committee and if chosen, it will sit alongside 1,037 other iconic sites like the the Great Barrier Reef and the Taj Mahal.

The decision is being made in Bahrain and if successful, the Dubai Creek will be second place in the UAE to be added to the list as in 2011 the cultural sites of Al Ain were included.
