Farfetch have officially planted their e-commerce flag in the Middle East with the launch of an Arabic website.

Leading online destination for luxury fashion is famed for letting you shop from some of the best boutiques round the world in once place, and now that has become even easier for us in the region with an Arabic platform. The launch follows the recent announcement of the company’s joint venture with the Chalhoub Group, José Neves, Founder and CEO at Farfetch, said:

“As one of the largest luxury markets in the world, the Middle East is so important to Farfetch. We’re thrilled to be able to bring our customers in the region an unrivalled range of beautiful products that they can’t find anywhere else from around the world.”

To mark this occasion, Farfetch collaborated with ‘calligraffiti’ artist, eL Seed, creating unique art installations dedicated to fashion lovers in the region that can be spotted in the Dubai Design District, JBR and City Walk.

The Arabic site will provide inspiration for customers by featuring dedicated editorial content with British-Moroccan model, Nora Attal, starring in shoots and interviews on the day of the launch. Ahead of and throughout the Ramadan period, the newly launched local site will feature a range of product edits for modest dressing and Eid gifting.
