Julien Tornare announced as new CEO of Zenith

It has been announced that Julien Tornare is the new CEO of Zenith, effective as of May 1st 2017. Mr Tornare will report to Jean-Claude Biver, the President of the LVMH Watches division and President of the Board of Directors of Zenith.

In his new role, Mr Tornare will focus on the renewal of Zenith; developing its markets and activating its marketing initiatives.

Jean-Claude Biver commented on the appointment, saying ‘Julien’s strong international and commercial experience in Watches will be crucial to the development of Zenith, which is enjoying renewed success since Baselworld and the launch of Defy El Primero 21.’

Julien Tornare is an Economics graduate from the University of Geneva. He joined the Vacheron Constantin watch brand in 2000, initially as head of the Swiss market and later becoming President of the North American market. Tornare directed Vacheron Constantin international sales from 2009 to 2011, and helped to develop the Asia-Pacific region as Managing Director before accepting his new role.
