Every holiday period Claridge’s Hotel in London enlists a leading designer to create their Christimas tree and this year they turned to Karl Lagerfeld.

While we still don’t know exactly what his creation will entail, we expect a mix of Chanel’s chic touch with a dose of Fendi’s bright flair.

“Christmas trees are the strongest ‘souvenir’ of my happy childhood,” he said in a statement.

Lagerfeld follows the likes of Christopher Bailey, Alber Elbaz and Dolce & Gabbana that have all brought their own holiday cheer to the famed Mayfair Hotel. The design will be revealed on November 22.
