A high profile cast will star in an upcoming film based on a Fox News #MeToo scandal which saw network’s president Roger Ailes step down in 2016.
Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron have all signed up to a movie currently titled Fair and Balanced – referencing to the channels slogan it used up until 2017.

“Emmy-winning Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson and Charlize Theron as fellow former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who left the network after claiming that she too had faced harassment,” Digital Spy reports.
They add, “Robbie will play a fictionalised associate Fox News producer who is an amalgamation of real-life figures who worked with both Carlson and Kelly behind the scenes.”
Though the scandal predated the allegations which surfaced against Harvey Weinstein at the end of 2016, it is seen as one of the key moments that prompted the #MeToo movement.
