Back in 2011, luxury footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti collaborated with the renowned Swiss master goldsmith Chopard for Amfar at the prestigious Cannes event. Today the two have joined foreces again to create an iconic silk three strap sandal, rendered unique, with a precious gemstone clustered anklet band. The jewelled masterpiece was donated to The Naked Heart Foundation, a charitable organisation founded by top model and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, raising funds for children with mental disabilities.
The refined and exquisite creation is destined to make a timeless statement. The sandal was auctioned at the charity’s exclusive Christmas Ball held in Moscow earlier this month. An array of stars and VIP guests attended the stylish event. Designer Giuseppe Zanotti said: “I am truly honoured to have had the opportunity to support this incredible charity, putting my deep passion for jewellery and design into collaborating with Chopard in joint creative challenge to support a very rewarding philanthropic cause.”
