VALENTINO’S NEW BOUTIQUE IN THE MALL OF QATAR

Valentino recently opened its new stylish and classic boutique in Doha’s Mall of Qatar. The 371 square meter boutique continues the innovative store concept developed by the Valentino creative direction together with renowned British architect David Chipperfield.

The store concept combines old and new in order to generate a kind of palazzo atmosphere, steering away from a pure showroom and promoting a new retail architectural format in place of a more traditional retail boutique structure.screen-shot-2016-12-13-at-18-38-20

The architecture is designed to compliment the pieces on display, making use of a range of discreetly opulent materials – terrazzo stone wall panels and palladiana marble flooring, artisan-crafted brass and wooden shelving and racks, refined benches and hand knotted rugs – to focus attention on the collections and evoke a sense of intimacy.

The boutique features womenswear and menswear product categories include ready-to-wear, accessories and fragrances. There are two Valentino VIP areas, one for man and one for women, which provides exclusive services for customers upon dedicated appointments. Highlights also include men’s made to measure, allowing a complete customisation of the menswear items.
