[Vetements Autumn/Winter 2016]
Instead of Vetements showcasing their Spring 2017 collection at Paris Fashion Week this month, in September, they’ve decided to show in January. Also, instead of a February show they are scheduled for June. Another announcement from the house is that Demna and Guram Gvasalia recently appointed Nina Nitsche as collection director.
Nina Nitsche, who has previously spent two decades working at Maison Margiela, where Gvasalia himself once worked, will oversee the design of Vetements collections whilst Demna splits his time with his role as creative director at Balenciaga. We look forward to watching the Balenciaga Spring 2017 collection next week in Paris.
