Weekend Max Mara, the lifestyle line by Max Mara Group, opens its first store in Dubai in City Walk. The spring/summer ’16 collection was beautifully displayed at the opening event held at the new store this month, in April.
Developed in 1984 as a casual outdoor collection ideal for weekends (as the name suggests), Weekend Max Mara is a solution for the contemporary demand for garments that are practical and versatile, full of colour and elegantly feminine. Pieces express the true concept of “utility deluxe”, a clever combination of glamour and sophistication matched by the label’s original sportswear DNA.
The Dubai store has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere combined with contemporary, eclectic pieces of Scandinavian-style furniture. There are strong contrasting interior materials like concrete, marble granules tiles and walnut wood in strips to highlight different areas of the shop.
The flagship store is in London’s Notting Hill and other shops are in Italy, France, Sweden, Japan and leading department stores in the United States.
