Willem Van Weeghel's work will be on display in Dubai this summer
For the first time, acclaimed Dutch artist Willem Van Wheeghel will be displaying his work within the Middle East.
Precisely, the M.A.D Gallery located within The Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue which is a gallery born in Geneva which focuses on kinetic art, especially that surrounding horological machines and mechanical art devices.
Famed for his modern interpretation of kinetic art, the exhibition will display six pieces titled Dynamic Structures.
Each piece captures patterns that occur within movement and creates an order with the chaos.
Now 62, the artist studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and his works have been widely displayed in his home region.
While it’s his first exhibition in the Middle East, his artwork has previously been on display in the USA.
The pop-up exhibition will be on display until September 15th, 2019.
