Dubai Watch Week is back and it is promising to be bigger and better than ever before.
The purpose built space in DIFC will host exhibitions, educational platforms, watchmaking classes and closer look at craftsmanship behind unique skills such as engraving and miniature painting.
So what can you expect? There will be an exhibition focusing on classical craftsmanship and contemporary design as well as watch making workshops hosted by renowned master-craft men and women who will provide attendees with the opportunity to try their hands at some of the most iconic watch related techniques. A lucky few can also participate in master classes that focus on assembling timepieces.
The Horology Forum will bring together over 30 international speakers covering topics such as Smart Watches, Digital Curators, 100 Years of Watchmaking and What Makes the Value of a Watch. Want to become a pro collector? Stop by the Auction Room in collaboration with Christies for an opportunity to evaluate your watch, attend classes and learn how to bid at auctions.
The event is held 16 – 20 November and without another DWW until 2020, expect even more events and surprise guest announcements soon.
