What’s your morning routine before work?

Freshen up, put on a homemade face mask and eat my breakfast whilst checking my email and watching an episode of Seinfeld!

How do you decide what to wear in the morning?

I dress according to my mood, not the weather. If I am feeling feminine and flirty I will wear something that emulates that feeling even if it is cold outside.

Three items you can’t live without?

Green tea, my phone and my “Fareesa” handbag in the solid black matte python.

Favourite place you like to go to in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong has the best sky line in the world – it is a sight that always makes me feel grateful and positive. I can be having high tea at Sevva or taking a yacht out – it is a sight that never fails to take my breath away.

What did you do last night?

I went to a charity event to raise funds for Syria followed by dinner at one of my favourite restaurants in Hong Kong “Yardbird.”

Complete the sentence: My perfect holiday would be…

Sunny, but not hot; beach; blue sea; fresh coconuts; lavender; scented pillows and a great spa!

What book are you reading at the moment?

The Elegance of the Hedgehog, by Muriel Barbery.

Tell us a fact about you that nobody knows.

I am in the process of setting up “Laykh gives back.” I’m in talks with several woman’s charities for Laykh to become a permanent advocate to their causes, and a set percentage of all Laykh sales will be donated to charities. I am also putting an Indian wear line into work that will hopefully launch in March.

Your favourite designer at the moment?

Peter Copping.

Your current style inspiration?

@upcloseandstylish on Instagram.

Who would you like to be stuck on a desert island with?

Hermione  Granger – with her magic wand we would be taken care of!

Three things you hate?

Freezing weather, raw tomatoes and arrogance.

What’s your personal motto?

Don’t have hope; live in faith.

How do you want the world to remember you?

The greatest currency in the world is the effect we have on other people. I would hope that the world will remember me as someone who uplifted, comforted and cared for the people in my world and this lesson would live on in my children.
