As the sun sets and a long day of fasting breaks, families and friends come together to enjoy an Iftar, and even if you’re not fasting it is a great way to get into the spirit of the Holy Month.

When it comes to food, it doesn’t get better than Dubai. From healthy alternatives as well as traditional buffets, we have gathered together a few new places to tick off your list along with some firm favourites.

TWO at Symphony

Just launched in the new fashion avenue at The Dubai Mall, the café offers a set menu including a Two Date Garden Salad that brings together mixed greens, fresh zaatar, date balls, feta, raspberries with  exotic flowers and honey lemon pomegranate dressing. A healthy way to break fast while also having a quick browse of the latest collections in store.

Newly opened Tania’s Teahouse, the specialty tea-themed café, is encouraging city-dwellers to trade in fancy tent outings for good-old, low-key fun with friends.  Socialise the old-school way with a game of Monopoly or Scrabble as you sip a cup – or more – of chai, and enjoy exclusive menu treats available throughout the Holy Month.
