Next time you indulge in some TLC at one of the Tips & Toes salons, they will donate a free pampering treatment worth Dhs80 to a breast cancer sufferer when you spend Dhs300 or more. What we love is that you can also write a note of encouragement and support on the voucher. But that’s not it, Tips & Toes have also partnered with renowned hair extension experts M.E.F and have styled wigs for the sufferers who have lost their locks after enduring life-saving chemotherapy treatment.
Careem is offering hundreds of free mammography vouchers in partnership with Saudi German Hospital in Dubai and Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi. Brunch In Pink
Kenza at Ramada Downtown Dubai will host a special Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch on October 19. It will feature a Pink and Facts Corner with important information about breast cancer, a raffle for guests wearing pink to participate in. Twenty per cent of the proceeds from the brunch will be donated to Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) through Emirates Red Crescent, in line with Ramada Downtown Dubai’s long-standing partnership with the charity organisation. The property is also selling ‘Fight Cancer’ shirts at its reception desk to raise additional funds.
Jo Malone London will be donating part of the sale from 100ml bottle of Red Roses to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. What makes this scent special is the unique blend of seven types of roses mixed with violet leaves and zesty lemons – truly unique.
Our Top Pick
One of the most delicate moments for anyone battling cancer is the loss of hair due to chemo or radiation therapy. We have been blown away by the thought that has gone into Philip Kingsley No Scent No Colour Shampoo and Conditioner. Free from fragrance, colour, sodium lauryl sulphates and parabens, this ultra-gentle range is perfect for everyday use, these products were created with those in mind who have easily irritated scalps and particularly for those undergoing treatment for cancer. Percentage of the sale will go towards Look Good Feel Better charity throughout the year.
