Did someone say happy Thursday?

When team A&E woke up this morning, we spotted something unusual in the sky and to our delight it was a cover of clouds. That’s right Dubai residents, the weather is officially changing which means you can finally enjoy being outside for longer than 10 minutes.

Breakfast In The Dunes

Bab Al Shams is not just for stargazing as the sand covered resort offers a delicious breakfast overlooking the surrounding landscape. And, if you’re a cyclist or biker you can indulge in the vast buffet at a special rate.

Superhero Moment

skydive dubai

Jada Pinkett Smith was in Dubai with her husband Will Smith and did something everyone needs to have on their bucket list – a skydive. Not for the faint hearted but definitely something you’ll never forget, Skydive Dubai is the place to do it as you get an amazing view over the Dubai shore from above.

The Forgotten Village

sharjah's buried village

An explorer in you would love discovering the buried village in Sharjah. Just outside of the town of Al Madam, the abandoned village used to inhabited by the Al Kutbi tribe but no one knows why they left. Now the houses and a mosque are almost completely covered in sand.

Beach Please

After a five-month makeover, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is set to reopen this weekend and the most notable transformation happened beachside. Villa Beach, Beachcombers and Ocean Blue now look fresh and elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a sundowner.

At The Movies

A number of venues are hosting outdoor screenings of classic favourites, including the Urban Outdoor Cinema that is returning to Habtoor Grand in Dubai Marina this weekend. Fans of a musical should book a spot this Saturday and enjoy The Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman.

And Breath…

Finally, exercising outside is a joy rather than torture and those who need a stretch can head down to Dukes Dubai on a Saturday for a full day of wellbeing courtesy of H Retreats. Expect meditation, yoga and one-to-one consultations along with a three-course lunch.
