The heat is on the rise, but that doesn’t mean that you should let it stand in the way of family fun with our pick of luxury escapes in Dubai.

Water parks are one of the best ways to cool down on a sunny day, just don’t forget your SPF. Atlantis, The Palm has everything you need to relax while the kids enjoy all the rides and pools. Afterwards, grab lunch at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen that has one of the best selections of ice creams.

For something a little bit more exclusive, check into the Burj Al Arab where you can easily enjoy some outdoor activities while cooling off in one of the poolside cabanas. There is also Sinbad’s Kids’ Club is located on the 18th floor of the hotel and is staffed at all times by professional carers and has everything the kids enjoy for play and rest.

The Four Seasons resort in Jumeirah is perfect for family stays. They offer a complimentary Kids For All Seasons programme for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years. Children under 18 occupying the same guest room as parents stay for free, and the hotel will provide a welcome amenity, toy camel mascot, child-size bathrobes and complimentary children’s toiletries.

The Bvlgari Resort’s The Little Gems Club is one of our favourites in the city and is located at both La Spiaggia and the Yacht Club. Your little ones can make their own name bracelet on arrival to allow them access to restaurants and complimentary ice cream, juices and pastries. They can enjoy treasure hunts, costume parties, cooking classes with chefs, beach camping, movies under the stars and a range of fitness activities including kids yoga. Bedtime is even better as the hotels pitches a sleeping tent in your room with scene-setting glow-in-the-dark stars and  a night lamp. The tent comes complete with a featherbed and backpack filled with fun camping activities and a teddy bear. Come to think of it, do they come in adult sizes?
