The iconic Queen Elizabeth 2 has found a permanent home in Dubai as the new dining and hotel destination that’s fit for a royal.

The world-famous cruise liner, which has a history spanning five decades, is now docked at Mina Rashid, where visitors can enjoy 13 restaurants and bars, 13 room and suite categories including two Royal Suites that offer a private veranda, conservatory and dining room. Those who want to dive back in time can stroll thought the QE2 Exhibition – an interactive museum that looks back on the 60’s.

Restored to her former glory, Queen Elizabeth 2 maintains her known interior design features including period furniture, renowned paintings and famous memorabilia. Hamza Mustafa, CEO of PCFC Hotels said:

“We have dedicated more than 2.7 million man-hours into transforming this legendary ocean liner into the multi-faceted tourist destination that she is today and I am very proud to reintroduce her to the world as she embarks on the next stage of her celebrated journey”.

Five of the restaurants and bars will be open from April 18 including The Chart Room which is a sophisticated and historical lounge and bar, The Pavilion which is ideal for families and those who want to soak up the sun on the terrace that overlooks the Marina. Lido is hotel’s all-day-dining restaurant and The Grand Lounge’s cabaret-style setting will bring weekly entertainment. For traditional pub grub try The Golden Lion, while The Yacht Club offers a unique take on the classic afternoon tea.
