Turkish born Eda Gungor grew up in Istanbul and lived in Germany, New York and London. She set up the holistic creative hub called Life N’One in Dubai which incorporates yoga and pilates studios, a vegan cafe, garden, a shop and a general place to hang out and be creative. She said: “I always worked in corporate companies but my hobby was learning about healing and improving health and wellness. I realised working life was draining me so I focused on my personal interests more and people were saying that I look great and asking what did I do to look good.  I realised I should turn this love for wellness into business.”

To celebrate their second year, Life N’One are having a weekend of wellness talks and classes like gong therapy and other holistic therapies. Therapists include: Caroline Leon talking about hitting rock bottom, Emma Thomson discussing healing at a cellular level and Sarah Adelal’s talk on the aura and chakra photography. It’s free for all those interested and a chance to sample what is on offer.

Entrepreneur Eda added: “We are working with the best team. We did one in December last year and we liked the outcome. Everyone was very excited about it. We decided to do another for our second birthday. There is an artisan market and free yoga, pilates and meditation classes. In the evenings, there will be live music and a DJ. It’s the perfect weekend to meet people and try our products and if you want to buy something there will be special discounts.”
