Desert Warrior Challenge will be taking over Al Qudra Lakes on January 11 and will present three intense courses for you to battle through with up to 20 obstacles at a time. Kids from the age of six can also get involved and take part in the 1-2km Junior Warrior course with eight obstacles.

DIFC has had a number if new restaurants opening up and Ciboney’s (name inspired by the Arawak and Taino tribes) will be joining the line up very soon. Jamaican chef Collin Brown will lead up the home-grown venue delivering traditional Jamaican dishes while live bands will provide entertainment. The restaurant will also have three bars, including a hidden bar that will be worth finding if you want to try some unique drinks.
