The Ritz Carlton Langkawi will be opening this September and will add yet another luxurious hotel to the beautiful Malaysian island. The oceanfront resort will boast a private beach and cove and will be designed to beautifully blend in with the surrounding landscape. The resort will emulate a traditional Malay kampong village with a contemporary and luxurious twist, featuring 90 guests rooms, 30 villas and 3 swimming pools. The luxury hotel chain will also be trying to put their newest hotel on the spa destination map. A five star spa and hammam will be on offer with an array of rejuvenating experiences with the option to be pampered in your own luxury villa. There will also be a variety of international restaurants on offer, including a fine dining french restaurant and a beach grill restaurant. Activities will be in abundance with the hotel’s cove allowing guests direct access to the island’s famed dive sites. Langkawi is certainly a destination that is now firmly on our list!
