Downtown Design opened today at Dubai Design District (d3), bringing together international design houses, independent studios and emerging regional talent for five days of contemporary furniture, interiors and collectable design.

Running from the 4th to the 8th of November as the headline fair of Dubai Design Week, the 2026 edition features established global brands alongside new exhibitors, with a programme spanning furniture, lighting, ceramics, glassmaking and outdoor design. The fair also places an emphasis on immersive installations and collaborations that bring design beyond the exhibition stand.
Among this year’s highlights is a dedicated exhibition celebrating Memphis Milano, the influential Italian design movement known for its experimental forms, vivid colours and unconventional patterns. Presented by HMA Living, the showcase revisits the movement’s distinctive visual language and its continuing influence on contemporary interiors.

Jewellery house Buccellati returns for a second year with a pop-up created in collaboration with British designer Luke Edward Hall. Drawing on the mythology and symbolism of water, the presentation brings together the house’s craftsmanship and Hall’s characteristically imaginative visual approach. Meanwhile, the annual Veuve Clicquot Lounge features a concept by British-Nigerian artist and designer Yinka Ilori, with Dubai-based studio Etereo creating another new hospitality space exploring material, form and spatial experience.
The fair’s international participation includes names working across luxury kitchen appliances, glassmaking and outdoor furniture, while regional initiatives provide a platform for UAE-based designers, experimental furniture prototypes and interactive spatial concepts. New exhibitors also bring contemporary ceramics, furniture design, and sourcing and procurement expertise to this year’s line-up.

Beyond the exhibition stands, a series of pop-ups, food and beverage concepts and design-led experiences will run throughout the fair. The Forum at Downtown Design also returns with a programme of talks and keynote discussions featuring international and regional figures from the creative industries, including French interior architect and designer Tristan Auer. Its setting has been conceived under the creative direction of architecture and interiors studio BONE.
Taking place within the wider Dubai Design Week programme, Downtown Design forms a central meeting point for the region’s professional design community, connecting international brands with local practitioners, architects, interior designers and collectors.
The fair runs until the 8th of November at Dubai Design District, with Dubai Design Week continuing across the district until the same date.
