What’s your morning routine before work?
Sarah: Before leaving the house I spend time exclusively with my daughter. We have breakfast together, get dressed and then go on to start our days!
Dana: I wake up and wash my face, brush my teeth, then I drink warm water with apple cider vinegar while I check my emails. I then have a green juice, eat breakfast and head to the office.
How do you decide what to wear in the morning?
Sarah: If I have meetings I’ll dress more formal. The days are long and busy running around town, comfort is key.
Dana: I decide what to wear depending on my day and the weather. If I have meetings, I try to dress a bit more formal than usual. Otherwise I am comfortable and causal.
Three items you can’t live without?
Sarah: My phone, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, and my laptop – I’m constantly on it!
Dana: My phone, lip balm, and water.
Favourite place you like to go to in Kuwait?
Sarah: Slider Station for dinner and my home. I’m a major homebody and just love hanging out with my family.
Dana: My favourite place to go in Kuwait is the beach!
What did you do last night?
Sarah: I was at a friend’s dinner party, which was wonderful! She’s an event-planner, so every single detail is planned out and gorgeous. Plus the food is always fabulous.
Dana: I just got back from travelling, so last night I stayed in and caught up on all my shows.
Complete the sentence: My perfect holiday would be…
Sarah: In Tokyo, eating ramen with my husband. We were last in Japan over 6 years ago, and constantly talk about how we need to go back soon!
Dana: On a beach with good food and good company.
What book are you reading at the moment?
Sarah: I’m reading “The Lowland,” by Jhumpa Lahiri.
Dana: I am not reading any book at the moment.
Tell us a fact about you that nobody knows.
Sarah: I love binging on peanut M&M’s.
Dana: I am obsessed with reality TV.
Your favourite designer at the moment?
Dana: That’s a hard question, I like different designers for different things. At the moment I am really loving Sanayi 313 shoes!
Your current style inspiration?
Sarah: Jennifer Lopez for beauty and style.
Dana: Normal stylish girls all over the world.
Who would you like to be stuck on a desert island with?
Sarah: My husband and daughter.
Dana: My family.
Three things you hate?
Sarah: Working with people who have no integrity or professionalism, talking while eating, and generic “pop” music. It gets stuck in my head and is on constant repeat, drives me mad!
Dana: When someone makes noises when they eat or drink, no manners, and the colour purple!
What’s your personal motto?
Sarah: Don’t let ego get in the way of good decisions.
Dana: Always be kind to others and treat everyone with respect.
How do you want the world to remember you?
Sarah: With good memories and happy times.
Dana: As someone who always helped and was kind to others.
