Rene Caovilla Unveils Spectacular FW 25-26 Collection in Milan

Luxury footwear brand Rene Caovilla has introduced its Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, featuring intricate embroidery and an opulent golden theme.

The collection, titled The Golden Era, includes the house’s signature Cleo model, along with two newly introduced flats – a mule and a slingback – both featuring embedded crystals.

The Full Crystal range, another hallmark of the collection, sees a selection of footwear adorned with dazzling crystal embellishments. This includes slingbacks, Mary Janes, boots, ballerinas, kitten heels, and stilettos, all crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Mini and double buckles, sharp toes, and shimmering snake motifs enhance the sophisticated appeal of these designs.

Adding to the collection, the Wave series reimagines sea-inspired fluidity with elegant slingbacks and ankle boots. These models, featuring stiletto heels, are offered in soft powdery hues, rich brown suede, or all-black designs accentuated with tonal crystals.

A standout introduction is the Spark model, featuring a sculptural snake motif composed of luminous stones wrapping around the ankle in a spiral. This distinctive design is available in purple, orange, and grey metallic fabrics, as well as blue, purple, and raspberry velvet. The style extends across various silhouettes, including sandals, thigh-high boots, and ankle boots in black stretch nappa leather.

Returning for another season, the Chandelier sandal and Margot sandal reaffirm their status as brand favourites. These designs are presented in vibrant shades of raspberry, purple, orange, teal, and amber, alongside a new dark grey version for versatility.

The Braid model, first introduced in the SS25 collection, evolves with fresh interpretations. Now available in mules with pointed toes, ankle-strap styles, and chunky-heeled flip-flops, the model remains true to its signature double-braid aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Dalilah, a new addition to the Bridal 2025 collection, is designed with elegance in mind. Featuring a T-strap, a 105mm heel, and white crystal embellishments, this model is tailored for brides seeking timeless glamour.

In addition to its footwear offerings, Rene Caovilla expands into accessories with a new mini bag capsule collection. The line features three luxurious designs, each designed to complement the brand’s footwear.

The Bucket bag is adorned with all-over rhinestones and available in hues inspired by winter sunsets – orange and gold – as well as a black velvet variant.

The Wave clutch, crafted in powdery satin, is also available in total black rhinestones and velvet, with a jet-black rhinestone border and a Serpent bracelet for a refined finish.

The Bauletto, a cocktail handbag fully covered in black rhinestones, features a jewelled snake handle, ideal for elegant occasions.

FENDI Marks 100-Year Anniversary at Milan Fashion Week FW25-26

FENDI celebrated its centenary year yesterday with the unveiling of its Women’s and Men’s Fall/Winter 2025-26 collections at Milan Fashion Week.

The collections were designed by creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi, granddaughter of Edoardo Fendi and Adele Casagrande Fendi, who founded the house.

The show, held at the new Spazio FENDI in Milan, was a nod to the brand’s early days, recalling the original boutique and atelier on Via Borgognona in Rome. The setting evoked the glamour of the Fendi family’s legacy, where their boutique catered to high society by day and entertained the elite of Cinecittà by night.

The centenary fashion show was also opened by Dardo and Tazio, the seven-year-old twin sons of Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Nico Vascellari. Wearing replicas of an equestrian ensemble designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1967 and once worn by Silvia Venturini Fendi as a child, they symbolically opened the wooden doors, unveiling the runway.

Venturini Fendi’s vision for the centenary collection was not simply archival but deeply personal. “FENDI reminds me of the future,” she said, choosing to reflect on personal memories rather than merely revisit past designs. This approach resulted in a collection that embodied ‘FENDI-ness’ a blend of irony, elegance, sensuality, and Roman sophistication.

From the outset, the collection played with textures and silhouettes. A flared coat, worn as a dress, featured a high collar and gold belt, while shearlings, crafted with intarsia and patchwork techniques, mimicked fox, mink, and sable. The hourglass silhouette manifested in satin skirts, flounced jackets, and sculptural sleeves. A spectrum of colours captured Rome’s atmospheric palette, from deep greens and earthy browns to sunset-inspired cinnamon, terracotta, and scarlet.

FENDI’s tailoring expertise took centre stage with precision-cut blazers, deconstructed wool coats, and oversized trench coats in lambskin and plissé taffeta.

Shearling stoles became versatile accents, worn over jewel-tone cardigans and lingerie dresses. Meanwhile, Selleria coats in reversible deerskin and suede highlighted the brand’s leather craftsmanship. Eveningwear embraced a play of matte and shine, featuring satin skirts, draped duchesse, and embroidered Chantilly lace, reinforcing FENDI’s signature opulence.

The Fall/Winter 2025-26 accessories collection revisited FENDI’s iconic handbags with a retro-futurist twist. The new FENDI Giano, a moon-shaped ‘click-clack’ purse, transformed from a clutch to a shoulder bag, while the 2005 Spy Bag returned with a deconstructed silhouette and twisted handle. The Peekaboo and Baguette remained central, reimagined with shearling intarsia and mirrored embroideries. For men, the FENDI Lui duffel and Cuoio Romano hobo bag introduced new shapes with signature FF hardware.

Footwear featured trompe l’oeil boots, peep-toe slippers with metal finishes, and desert boots crafted from wild shearling and soft lambskin. The jewellery collection, designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi, embraced fluidity and movement, with snake chain collars, chandelier earrings, and sterling silver obelisk pendants adding a shimmering touch.

The show’s soundtrack, curated by Michel Gaubert, featured a nostalgic yet timeless selection, including Barry White’s ‘Never, Never Gonna Give Ya Up’ and songs from Italian music icons such as Ornella Vanoni, Mina, Patty Pravo, and Franco Battiato.

Luke and Lucie Meier Present Final Collection for Jil Sander at Fall/Winter 2025 Show in Milan

Lucie and Luke Meier took their final bow as creative directors of Jil Sander with the presentation of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025  collection at the Certosa District in Milan.

The collection, which embraced the duality of darkness and light, showcased the Meiers’ signature tension between opposing elements, combining urban edge with refined elegance.

The show opened in a pitch-black setting, accentuated by the stark contrast of cold, hyper-real lighting that illuminated the catwalk. Reimagined soundscapes by Benji B complemented the ambience, creating a dreamlike vortex that set the stage for the unveiling of the collection.

The Meiers explored a nuanced palette dominated by black, white, and grey, punctuated with flashes of silver, burgundy, pure red, lake blue, and lilac. Notable pieces included black leather jackets adorned with steel studs and eyelets, pointy shoes and boots in black, white, and red, and delicate floral prints emerging from dark fabrics.

Textures played a pivotal role, with garments featuring raw cuts, ribbons, feathers, and English tailoring wool that added depth and dimension. Sequined stripes, hand-applied in silver and black, graced pleated dresses crafted from knitted velvet, taffeta, and silk. The menswear offered a playful twist on traditional masculine silhouettes, with tailored jackets and coats detailed with studded belts, lace inserts, and asymmetric zippers.

Outerwear stood out with black-tipped blue shearling fur coats and collars, while knitwear featured ingeniously woven alpaca and cashmere pieces, available in both shrunken and oversized fits. Accessories ranged from sculptural clutches to bold shoppers and adjustable shoulder bags, reflecting the collection’s emphasis on strength and versatility.

Referencing New Wave nostalgia and a rebellious reinterpretation of tradition, the Meiers crafted a collection that balanced urban toughness with tender sophistication. The aesthetic seamlessly merged the everyday with sartorial perfection, a hallmark of their tenure at Jil Sander.

Founded in 1968 by Mrs. Jil Sander and acquired by OTB Fashion Group in 2021, the Milan-based brand has continued to epitomise modernity and sophistication under the Meiers’ creative direction since 2017. Their departure marks the end of an era characterised by minimalism infused with sensuality and craft.

As the show concluded, the audience—a mix of industry insiders and loyal supporters—rose in a standing ovation, honouring the duo’s impactful contribution to the brand. While the future of Jil Sander remains under speculation, the Fall/Winter 2025 collection stands as a testament to the Meiers’ legacy of thoughtful design and artistic rigour.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Collaborates with Khalid Shafar to Celebrate Ramadan

Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled a new artistic collaboration with Emirati designer Khalid Shafar as part of its “Made of Makers” programme.

The exclusive art installation, titled Crescent to Crescent, celebrates the sacred rhythms of Ramadan through the lens of contemporary design and horological craftsmanship.

Spanning six metres in width and three metres in height, the installation features 29 intricately designed moons, symbolising each day of the lunar cycle during Ramadan. One side of the installation displays a striking colour gradient reflecting the moon’s daily evolution, while the reverse offers an immersive play of light that illuminates each moon as viewers move through the space. This dual perspective invites reflection on the passage of time and the celestial movements that dictate the Ramadan calendar.

“When Jaeger-LeCoultre invited me to create an art installation in honour of Ramadan, I sought to capture the profound rhythm of time itself, drawing inspiration from the lunar cycle,” said Khalid Shafar. “This installation is a tribute to the sacred rhythms of Ramadan, where time becomes a contemplative practice.”

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Made of Makers programme aims to bridge horology with various artistic disciplines. “Khalid Shafar’s Crescent to Crescent beautifully embodies our philosophy of celebrating the artistry of time,” said Jérôme Lambert, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. “His ability to translate the passage of time into a powerful visual and emotional experience makes him a natural partner for our programme.”

Born in the UAE, Khalid Shafar is known for blending Emirati cultural heritage with contemporary design. His work, often characterised by clean lines and rich textures, has been showcased internationally at events such as the Milan Design Week and London Design Festival. With Crescent to Crescent, Shafar brings his narrative-driven approach to the fore, reflecting on how traditional forms can be reimagined through modern aesthetics.

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s fascination with celestial timekeeping dates back to its founding in 1833. The Maison’s long-standing connection to astronomical cycles is evident in its watchmaking masterpieces, making this collaboration a natural extension of its heritage.

The Crescent to Crescent installation will be on display at the Dubai Mall Grand Atrium from 28 February, remaining throughout the month of Ramadan before travelling to select locations across Dubai. The exhibition aims to engage the region’s vibrant art, design, and creative communities.

Burberry Unveils Winter 2025 Collection at Tate Britain

On the final day of London Fashion Week Burberry presented its Winter 2025 collection under the creative direction of Daniel Lee at the iconic art gallery, the Tate Britain.

The show location was chosen as part of a one-year partnership with the art institution, supporting conservation work at its Painting Conservation Studios.

Inspired by the quintessential British weekend escape to the countryside, Lee drew upon the juxtaposition of outdoor practicality and the faded grandeur of English stately homes. “Think of them as weekend escapees,” Lee said, describing the concept behind the collection, which blends traditional outdoor wear with elements reminiscent of grand, albeit worn, country house interiors.

The collection showcased a fusion of textures and fabrics sourced from British makers. Weatherproof materials were combined with elaborate tapestry-inspired designs, including coats in embossed leather and patchwork shearling, as well as capes crafted from knit and shearling fabrics. Evening and daywear incorporated velvet brocade jackets mimicking flocked wallpaper, while pheasant prints and beaded lacework added intricate detailing.

Colours drawn from nature and historic interiors, such as tapestry brown, deer taupe, and shades of punky red and maze green, were prevalent throughout the collection. These hues were inspired by Lee’s walks in the Yorkshire Dales, further cementing the countryside theme.

Accessories played a significant role, with the new B Bracelet bag reflecting equestrian influences and featuring a curved top handle with bridle-rein-inspired hardware. Footwear included equestrian boots and pumps crafted from embossed leathers and damask weaves, echoing richly furnished interiors.

The event’s setting was equally evocative. Drapes and frescos adorned the venue, reimagining British landscape paintings and the interiors of historic estates. The casting featured renowned actors from British film and television, including Ṣọpẽ́ Dìrísù, Jason Isaacs, Richard E. Grant, and Lesley Manville, aligning with the collection’s narrative rooted in British culture.

Musically, the show paid tribute to the late Sinéad O’Connor, with a curated soundtrack by producer Benji B, featuring tracks from the singer’s archive.

Reflecting on the choice of venue, Lee stated, “Tate Britain is an unrivalled archive of incredible art, it made perfect sense to show with a British backdrop for a British brand, both celebrating British creativity.”

Noon By Noor Unveils Fall Winter 2025 Collection at Somerset House

This weekend Shaikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Mohamed Al Khalifa presented their Noon By Noor Fall Winter 2025 collection at London’s Somerset House today.

The collection explores the interplay between structure and fluidity, heritage and modernity.

The designers drew inspiration from Bahrain’s architectural landscape, notably the work of Swiss architect Christian Kerez, whose multi-storey car parks in Muharraq have been transformed into communal spaces for art, culture and movement.

“We are fortunate to have been nurtured in art and architecture, both in our home and in our surroundings in Bahrain–a place rich in both, from which we can draw constant inspiration,” said Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa.

“While working on this collection, we focused on finding a sense of balance between structure and curves, elegance and ease, function and frivolity, a balance between generations: a collage of the past, the present and the future,” added Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa.

Precision tailoring is a key feature, with sculptural jackets, draped bodices and sliced silhouettes that subtly reveal slivers of skin. Dresses and skirts carry a bold, dramatic and cinematic quality, each piece carefully crafted in the brand’s atelier. Minimal yet impactful embellishments have been achieved by stripping and fraying wool tweeds and reapplying them onto tulle, creating a lightweight fabric that adds texture, depth and a sense of movement.

In collaboration with sound designer Uwe Doll, an emotive and cinematic soundtrack was created for the collection. The music, described as bold yet familiar, complements the designs and reinforces the theme of evolution over conclusion.

The collection is presented as a study in balance where craft meets technology, and ideas evolve rather than conclude. “Each look was designed to whisper quietly yet make a bold statement—defined, precise, unmistakably Noon By Noor.”

Noon By Noor continues to define its modern aesthetic through understated luxury and self-assured femininity. The brand’s design philosophy combines relaxed silhouettes and intricate details with a deep appreciation for classic tailoring, underpinned by the use of the finest quality fabrics and materials.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the range, Paravina noted, “There is something very soft and gentle about the camellia’s aesthetic… which is particularly surprising when you know that it is actually a very hardy plant that adapts and manages to flower even in extreme conditions. This duality is the basis for the collection, marrying soft, romantic qualities with colder, more futuristic and modern codes.”

At the centre of the collection is the Camélia Futura Exclusive Creation, a blush trio featuring a gradient from tender pink to apricot, embossed with hand-sewn camellia motifs. Complementing this is the Fluide Enlumineur in an exclusive soft pink shade with a green shimmer, designed to add a touch of iridescent light to the complexion.

The Les 4 Ombres Utopia eyeshadow quad includes pearly, futuristic tones adorned with camellia embossing, while the Stylo Ombre et Contour comes in four versatile shades, combining deep mattes and pearlescent finishes.

For the lips, CHANEL presents two new shades each of Rouge Coco Flash and Rouge Allure Laque. The former features a peach with golden pearlescence and a pink with lilac-blue undertones, offering a shimmery, modern finish. The latter includes a deep rosy peach and a vibrant hot pink with metallic shimmer, reflecting the collection’s avant-garde spirit.

Completing the range, two new shades of Le Vernis – a glittering mauve grey and a semi-sheer pink with pearlescent particles – deliver a refined, romantic finish.

The “Jardin à la Vivier” event, held from 4th to 6th February in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), marked the collection’s debut in the UAE capital. Rolls-Royce Unveils The Most Powerful Model in the Marque’s History

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced the launch of the Black Badge Spectre, marking the most powerful vehicle in the brand’s history.

Designed to reflect the preferences of a select clientele seeking boldness and audacity, the new model represents an amplified alter ego of the marque.

The Black Badge Spectre delivers a formidable 485 kW (659 hp) of power and a landmark 1075 Nm of torque. Two new powertrain features, Infinity Mode and Spirited Mode, provide drivers with enhanced performance capabilities. Infinity Mode, activated via a steering wheel button, unleashes the full power output with an immediate throttle response. Spirited Mode, inspired by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine used in historical aircraft, enables a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 4.1 seconds through a dual-pedal engagement technique.

Engineering for the Black Badge Spectre was informed by anonymised driving data from Black Badge clients, allowing Rolls-Royce engineers to tailor the vehicle’s dynamics to real-world usage. This data revealed that clients typically utilise maximum power in short bursts rather than extended periods, shaping the vehicle’s responsive character.

Dr Bernhard Dressler, Director of Engineering at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, noted, “The development of Black Badge Spectre began with a deep understanding of the Black Badge character, overlaid with client feedback. Our engineering response was validated by a clandestine fleet of early models provided to select clients, whose positive reception affirmed our approach.”

Visually, the Black Badge Spectre introduces the Vapour Violet finish, inspired by the neon hues of 1980s and 1990s club culture. A contrasting Iced Black bonnet and new 23-inch forged aluminium wheels enhance the vehicle’s commanding presence. Clients can select from a palette of 44,000 colours or commission bespoke hues.

Inside, the cabin features the Illuminated Fascia with over 5,500 individual “stars” and the Black Badge Infinity symbol, a reference to the model’s enduring power. The Technical Fibre interior uses a diamond-shaped weave of carbon and metal thread, offering a three-dimensional texture, while illuminated treadplates are available in ten colours to complement the interior palette.

Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, described the vehicle as “one of the clearest statements of power and purpose we have ever made,” highlighting its appeal to clients who “fearlessly reject convention.”

The Black Badge Spectre continues the success of the Spectre line, which became Rolls-Royce’s second most-requested model globally in 2024 and the best-selling model in Europe. Owners of the standard Spectre have demonstrated extensive usage, with one Dubai client covering over 8,000 miles in a year and a Slovakian owner commuting nearly 250 miles regularly.

With an electric range of up to 329 miles (530 km) and an average power consumption of 23.8-22.2 kWh/100 km, the Black Badge Spectre combines sustainability with high performance.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars manufactures all its vehicles at the Goodwood facility in West Sussex, which serves as both global headquarters and the marque’s Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence. Since its establishment in 2003, Rolls-Royce’s operations at Goodwood have contributed over £4 billion to the UK economy.

A look back at some of the biggest moments from this year’s edition of LVMH Watch Week

Bvlgari

This January, Bvlgari has introduced a new automatic movement that will become the beating heartbeat of some of its Serpenti timepieces. The BVS100 Lady Solotempo Automatic Movement is crafted in-house using the Roman brands unrivalled expertise. Unveiled in time with the Chinese Lunar Year of the Snake, a fitting tribute, this self-winding movement heightens the hypnotic allure of Serpenti Seduttori.

These new talismans feature hours, minutes, and seconds displays, with the term Automatic” on the dial as a nod to their mechanical sophistication. Diamond accents on the bezel underscore this technical feat, while the transparent sapphire case back reveals the mesmerising motion of the oscillating weight. Adorned with seven serpent-inspired scales, the weight symbolizes the watchs perpetual renewal, powered by the wearers every movement.

Reflecting this evolutionary leap, Bvlgari has refined the sinuous contour of the Serpenti case. Its sleek, flowing curves radiate femininity, while the cabochon-cut rubellite crown offers a tactile connection to the mechanical masterpiece within. Serpenti is more than an icon; its a signature,” says Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Bvlgaris Executive Director of Watch Design.

Hublot

Big Bang MECA-10 42mm

A decade since the Big Bang MECA-10 was first introduced, Hublot presents the timepieces in a compact 42mm version with an optimised calibre and available in King Gold, Titanium and Frosted Carbon. Consisting of three linear bridges attached to the main plate, the new and improved MECA-10 is visibly different from its predecessor, with numerous evolutions. The bridges are decorated with satin-brushed surfaces and hand-polished bevels, elevating the notion of haute horlogerie in such an avant-garde and unusual movement. For each of the three different versions in King Gold, Titanium and Frosted Carbon, the movement is galvanically coloured to match the cases with 5N gold tones, metallic grey and black, respectively. True to its name, the Big Bang MECA-10 features an impressive power reserve of 10 days. What truly makes it stand out, however, is its power reserve indicator. Delivered by two mainspring barrels, the energy level of the movement can be read using a digital display that shows the power reserve as the number of days of autonomy remaining.

Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM

As the first watch brand to use SAXEM in its novelties, it now presents a unique limited collection of 18 watches in a bright emerald green. This innovative creation features Hublots MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon manufacture calibre, entirely developed and manufactured in-house. Built with a contemporary architecture, its 22-karat gold micro-rotor is positioned on the dial side of the movement. The winding is smooth and efficient with ceramic ball bearings, allowing the movement to reach a minimum chronometric power reserve of 72 hours. With an emphasis on openness and motion, the kinetics of the micro-rotor at 12 oclock is complemented by the 60-second tourbillon carriage at 6 oclock. The openness of the construction is accentuated by three functional sapphire elements for the barrel bridge, automatic winding gears bridge and tourbillon barrette. Specially for the Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM, the dial is tinted darker.

Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph

A trio of vibrant hues becomes a first for Hublot with the new additions to the Spirit of Big Bang collection. Three new ceramic colours, previously only available in the Big Bang line, mark 12 years of the exceptional collection. Sand Beige, Dark Green and Sky Blue editions are each limited to 200 pieces. The watches are powered by the Hublot automatic skeleton chronograph calibre HUB4700. Visible from both the open dial and sapphire display back, the movement hosts several technical innovations and advancements compared to the original from 1969, including a low-friction silicon escape wheel. Matching each of the three coloured ceramic cases in this new trio of Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph watches, the dials feature hour markers, chronograph counters and hands in a matching tone. The rubber straps, made of black rubber with a coloured central inlay, are also perfectly coordinated with the coloured ceramic cases.

Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake

Hublot continues its tradition of celebrating the zodiac animals of the Chinese lunisolar calendar in creative and surprising ways with the Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake. Limited to just 88 pieces, this impressively designed whats features an ornate rendition of the snake that extends from the dial to the case and even the strap. Striking and three-dimensional, the gold-plated snake is crafted with lifelike details that have been engraved with astounding precision thanks to the latest advancements in laser technologies. Carefully positioned as if slithering around the chronographs three counters, the serpent immediately catches the eye and intrigues.
